Route discovery
Find direct and layover flight routes worldwide
LayoverFinder is a free flight route explorer. Search any origin and destination, compare
direct and connecting flight paths, filter by airline, alliance, layover country, or travel
date, then open your chosen itinerary directly in Google Flights to book.
Covering thousands of airports and hundreds of airlines worldwide, LayoverFinder maps both
scheduled and seasonal routes so you can plan smarter — whether you want the shortest
connection or a multi-day stopover in a city you have always wanted to visit.
How it works
- Search your origin and destination airport by name or IATA code.
-
Compare direct flights and connecting options on an interactive world map. Each path
shows airlines, layover airports, flight duration, and available travel dates.
-
Apply filters to narrow by airline, airline alliance, layover country, stopover
duration, cabin class, or aircraft type.
-
Select your preferred route and continue directly to Google Flights to complete your
booking at the best available price.
Key features
-
Direct and multi-stop comparison — see all route options between any
two airports side by side, including 1-stop and 2-stop itineraries.
-
Layover country filter — find routes that connect through a specific
country or avoid regions you prefer not to transit.
-
Airline and alliance filter — limit results to a preferred carrier or
alliance (Star Alliance, Oneworld, SkyTeam) for points and status matching.
-
Stopover duration control — set a minimum and maximum layover window
to find connections that match your schedule.
-
Seasonal and scheduled routes — discover routes that only operate on
certain days of the week or during specific travel seasons.
-
Google Flights handoff — every route opens directly in Google Flights
with your airports pre-filled so you can check live prices and book in one step.
